Afghanistan has killed Assadullah Orakzai, the intelligence head for the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), National Directorate of Security (NDS) says.
The group is accountable for finishing up the March 25 Kabul gurdwara assault by which at the least 25 Sikhs have been killed.
The NDS informed TOLO News that the IS commander was killed on Saturday throughout an operation close to Jalalabad metropolis, the capial of Nangarhar province.
“The Special Units of the NDS have eliminated Ziaurrahman known as Assadullah Orakzai, the native of Akhel Orakzai agency of Pakistan during a targeted operation,” the company mentioned in a press release.
Orakzai was concerned in plotting lethal assaults on plenty of army and civilian targets in Afghanistan.
On April 4, the NDS introduced the arrest of Abdullah Orakzai, who is called Aslam Farooqi, the chief of the ISKP and 19 different IS members.
